The Bible directs us to do our best to present ourselves to God as one approved, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed & who correctly handles the word of truth.
We should always be prepared to give a reason for the hope we have in Jesus. Through Bible Study & peer-lead groups, we have many options to equip you to learn God’s Word & how to apply it to your life so that you are walking fully in God’s plan for your life. North River Navigators is our Nursery, Children’s & Youth program. There’s also opportunities for men and women to learn independently and together and even tuition assistance for members & their immediate families who plan on furthering their education in ministry.

Men
Crossroads North River Knights Men’s group is open to all men in the area & meets Mondays at 6:30pm
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” says the Bible. Our men’s ministry is designed to equip men to be Godly leaders in their homes. The North River Knights meet each Monday (except during summer) to study the Bible as well as do book studies, prayer walks, and community projects.

Fishers of Men
Fishers of Men takes place at Newburg Landing in the summer and is a fishing tournament with an entry fee benefitting the Navigators after school program. Dates and time vary.

Women
North River’s women’s ministry is diverse & schedule-friendly for the lady on the go.
Shari Prichard, of Women in the Word Ministries and also our pastor’s wife heads up our women’s ministry, focused on equipping women to serve Christ. Shari teaches 2-3 week classes several times per year and does small group & one on one counseling with women. There are also several small groups for women to dive deeper into the Word of God.

Bible Study
Bible Study is held the 1st, 2nd & 4th Wednesdays each month from 6pm-7pm. Worship Wednesday is the 3rd Wednesday each month from 6pm-7pm
Proper worship requires proper Bible Study. 3-4 Wednesdays each month we dig deeper into the previous Sunday’s message with a small and engaging style that encourages questions & conversation. Each 3rd Wednesday we want to create an atmosphere of worship that brings you into the presence of God in an intimate way through music & prayer. Join us!

Tuition Assistance
Tuition Assistance is available to church staff, members & immediate family who are entering higher education for a career in ministry. Forms are available in the church office.
